Talkin' Headz is a drum shop that was established in July 2003 by the owner Cris Thomas. With a great reputation for not only offering excellent customer service but also as a fantastic source of knowledge and expertise, the business has grown from strength to strength, with customers travelling from miles around to visit 'The Aladdin's Cave of Rhythm'!

Packed full of Drums, Cymbals and Accessories, Talkin' Headz is a drummer's dream and the staff are keen to impart their enthusiasm and expertise to all that visit.

Talkin' Headz is a dream come true for me. What could be more fun than playing drums? Spending all day talking to people about them of course!

I started playing at school, having lessons in a class. This is a great way to get started but there's no substitute for one-to-one tuition.

I formed my first band 'The Activators' with some mates from school. What a mixture of talents! The vocalist was into punk, one guitarist was a Hendrix wannabe, the other mixed in Bad Company and I was into Carl Palmer (oh and Emerson & Lake too).

In subsequent years I played with a number of bands-all styles and sizes - including a rock outfit Tobruk who eventually went Pro and the glamorous Ghandi's Revenge.

I currently play with MK's Soul Fever - an eight piece Soul band that's great for technique, feel and groove and another soul outfit down in North London called 'Power of Soul',a really experienced bunch of guys who have some great roots, and lastly a trio of some old mates doing the rock songs we want to do, called 'Riff'. This one is just really good fun.
